'Families meet families'

The day finally arrived on Sunday 9th February 2014 when, for the first time in a while, Brenners opened its doors to the family members of its employees, providing them with the opportunity to admire the hotel and take a peek behind the scenes at the workplace of their relatives and loved ones.

For several hours, we were able to welcome parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends to our hotel. With approximately 130 visitors, it turned out to be a very pleasant, well attended occasion. Prior to an extensive tour of the hotel, a delightful reception took place with coffee and cakes followed by a welcoming address by our General Manager Frank Marrenbach.


Everyone then made their way in a relaxed and communicative atmosphere along the hall into the Salon Lichtental, through the Gartensalon to the Brenners Park-Restaurant. After this, the visitors were led into the so-called "back of house" area: the kitchen, the main kitchen, our staff bistro, past the storerooms and as far as the spa area. Here, our wonderful pool and fitness area could be marvelled at. The viewing concluded with the Parkvilla, a deluxe double room and a junior suite. The hotel tour was a thoroughly enjoyable mutual experience and it gave us great pleasure to witness the wide-eyed expressions on many of the visitors' faces.


All children among the visitors were able to enjoy an eventful day in the Kids Club where the highlight was an ice-cream feast in our patisserie!


Particular thanks go to one of our employees for generating this brilliant idea and we were delighted to be able to give so many relatives an insight into our professional world.
